July 31, 2007
Dear New England Hand Society Members,
Then New England Hand Society welcomes your participation as a member and we look forward to your continued membership in 2007. Your membership in the Society is vital to providing hand surgeons, residents and therapists throughout New England with a collective organization that strives to meet the educational and informational needs of the hand surgery specialty by sharing information and resources.
Your Society is pleased to announce the release of its new website on August 8th at www.newenglandhandsociety.org. The site was redesigned with members in mind and will provide for easy online registration of meetings, dues payments via credit card, an active discussion board area, updated physician and hand therapist directory for referrals and much more to come in the future. Please take a few minutes to navigate the site and share your comments regarding the site and future updates with our administrator, Susan Schaffman at sasshops@aol.com.
Membership dues for 2007 will remain at $150.00 for M.D.s and $100.00 for therapists an PAs. This yearly fee includes free admission to the Annual Meeting with 8 CME credits, newsletter communications, email updates and directory listing for patient referrals on www.newenglandhandsociety.org. Your active membership is instrumental to the Society's work and activities on your behalf. Please complete the form enclosed so we can update our database records and ensure that your latest information is published on the website for referrals. You can mail the form back with your dues payment (payable to "New England Hand Society") by September 1st, or simply go to www.newenglandhandsociety.org to update your information and pay dues online via credit card. If you have any questions concerning membership, please contact our administrator, Susan Schaffman at 860-561-5205, or email at sasshops@aol.com.
We expect to have the best meeting ever this winter, and we look forward to seeing you in Sturbridge on December 7th, with featured speaker, William P. Cooney, III, M.D., formerly of the Mayo Clinic. Look for registration material and details in the mail or register online at our website, www.newenglandhandsociety.org.
